Is Christmas really here?? ALREADY?? As excited as I am, I'm not ready for Christmas to be over! I love all of the time spent with family, good food, good laughs, and beautiful decor! Christmas may be over after this week, but I promise you that my house is staying decorated like this throughout January!

Tonight we are having Christmas with my dad's family, tomorrow with my in-laws, and then Christmas morning with my mom's family. My heart will be so full in the next few days! As we open presents with our families, we need to remember that we have already been given the greatest gift of all- our savoir, Jesus Christ! We can't forget that HE is the REASON for SEASON! Merry Christmas All!!

I threw together a cute little springy centerpiece for our dining room table, and I just love it! The flowers were from our wedding reception, the wood piece from the unity candles at our wedding ceremony, the jar I already had, and W and bird's were super cheap at Hobby Lobby. I put together the wreath in 10 short minutes. It didn't come out exactly how I pictured, but what the heck, it'll do for now. I'll probably change it again for the summer!
In just a month Larry and I will mark 1 year of being home owners! Last year when I announced on the blog that we bought a house, everyone wanted to see pictures of the inside and how I decorated. Well, I haven't shown much of our house yet...  mainly because coming from only having to ever decorate my own room to now an entire house to decorate makes for not much to show! But finally, after a year of purchasing stuff here and there, our living room is *almost* complete. I actually had snapped some pictures of it in anticipation of posting them today, but there are just a few things I need to add before I want to show y'all. I am most definitely not the most creative with decorating our home, but I love to do it! My husband and I love the way it looks, and it feels homey to us, so that's all that really matters! :)

Merry Christmas Eve! Today I am spending my Christmas eve at work, unfortunately. BUT I am very very fortunate and thankful to have a great job. This evening we're exchanging gifts and having supper with my husband's parents and sister. Then... Santa passes!! I will forever be like a little kid on Christmas morning! I'm cooking a breakfast casserole and my parents and sister are coming early in the morning! I can't wait! What are your plans for Christmas?

I'm always showing off all of my thrifted clothes, but I don't only dress myself with thrifted items, a lot of my home is dressed in thrifted decor!  Here are some of the goodies I've found since we've moved into our house:

  My parent's found these bar-stools for us brand new at an auction & scored all 3 for only $80! My mom said they retail for about $150 each   Canvas Picture: Goodwill $3.99 I plan on putting it in our guest bathroom once I find a shower curtain & rug to match   Kirkland's brand new with tags picture in frame: Goodwill $12.00 This picture still had the Kirkland's tag on it that said $59.99!  Then the Goodwill had it marked for $24, but everything in the Goodwill was 50% the day I went in because they were having a moving sale... so it's like I got it for a total of 20% of the original price wow!   Wine Rack: Goodwill $3.99   Vintage Tin: Garage Sale $1   Pitcher: Bargain World Thrift Store $3 | Other Decoration: $5.99 (not sure what you call this but I absolutely love it and I based my colors in my kitchen and dining room off of this!)   Mail Holder: Goodwill $4.99   Brand new with tags ($20): Goodwill $5.99   Candle holders: St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store $1.75 each | Candles: Goodwill $1 each Smaller vintavge tin: Garage Sale $1 Our house is slowly but surely coming along and hopefully in a few months I'll be able to show y'all a fully decorated room!
