these are a few of my favorite things

stripes and leopard
leopard scarf + striped dress
Dress: Old Navy  $15 Christmas money [here]
Scarf: ebay $15
Boots: Just Fab $40
Total Outfit Cost: $55

Tell me you sang my title. You did, right?

Some of my favorite things:
-stripes, of course
=leopard, duh
-stripes + leopard together
-these boots

So let me tell you a long drawn out story about these boots. I bought a pair of boots from JustFab.com for my mom for Christmas. She loved them and said I picked out the perfect pair. Unfortunately they were a half size too big. So we sent them back. Then after weeks of waiting on the right size to come in, I get an email that they sold out of the right size. Ugh. You could have told me that weeks ago. So then a few more weeks go by of my mom trying to pick out another pair of boots, and she picks out these you see here. She got these in and loved these too, but now this time, these were too small! Wahhh. So yet again I have my mom pick out another pair of boots. This time no luck finding any she liked.

Then a couple weeks ago I was at Target and picked up these boots and a gray pair (that aren't online any more) for my mom for $12 each. Yes EACH! It turned out to be a win-win situation because my mom ended up with two pair of boots, and I got to keep these!

Sweater: Express $15 merchandise credit
Scarf: Ebay $15
Jeans: Old Navy gift carded [here]
Boots: JCP (on sale) $45
Total Outfit Cost: $60

So I'm kinda in love with this coral sweater I picked up from Express.  I'm so sad that it doesn't photo well though!  I've really been wanting some baggy, comfy sweaters, and this one was perfect.  I don't normally shop at Express, but Larry had gotten a gift from there that didn't fit, so I returned it and had merchandise credit to spend for him.  I could've been a bad wife and used the whole merch credit for myself, but I sustained!  I ended up finding him a red zip up hoodie. All of their clearance items were an additional 50% off, so I got the hoodie for $15, and had another $15 of merchandise credit to spare. I promise I did look for him something else!  I just didn't see anything he'd like or need.  So, I moseyed myself over to the women's clearance and grabbed a hahandfulf fun stuff to try on!  As soon as I tried on this sweater, I knew it was a keeper.  I also scored a scarf for $7 (you'll see it in my next post)!

J. Crew Tee: Bargain World Thrift Store $2
Pants: The Limited (50% off + $20 off coupon) $20 [here]
Boots: old
Scarf: Ebay $15

This cardigan is another fabulous item Le Tote sent me! I fell in love with it the moment I put it on. I considered keeping it, but then I looked at the price online and I could never ever ever justify almost $70 for a cardigan. So sadly back to Le Tote it went. :(

I've had so much fun styling all of the gorgeous things Le Tote has sent me. And it helps with not having to think much about what you're wearing for 3 out of the 5 work days. They send you 3 clothing items and 2 pieces of jewelry, so I'll style each clothing item 1 way, making 3 outfits for the week, then I just wear stuff out of my own closet for the other 2 days! I've gotten 3 totes from them and so far I am 9 for 9 (clothing only) with liking what they send me and 8 for 9 with fit (one dress was too short).

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I couldn't get off work the day before and after Thanksgiving, so I wasn't able to go hunting with Larry and his side of the family like normal for Thanksgiving. So for the first time in 4 years I got to spend Thanksgiving with my family! It was so nice to get together with everyone. Since I moved 2 hours away, I don't get much time with everyone anymore. I'm happy that I'll get to see everyone again in just a few weeks for Christmas! Spending time with family is really the best part of the holidays... and the food, we can't forget the food ;)

I actually wore this outfit about a month or so ago now, but somehow I never got around to posting it. I'm still quite in love with this black dress. It's SO comfy, yet it's totally dressy enough for work. I feel like that's how most of my closet goes now-a-days. I'm going to call it comfy work chic haha.

If I had to eat two things for the rest of my life (and not have to worry about my weight or health) I'd eat freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and french fries.
I can make the absolute ugliest faces you have ever seen. No lie. I'd prove it, but I'm not going to embarrass myself like that. My sister and I actually communicate on the daily by sending ugly photos of our elves through snap chat. Yes. These pictures are so ugly, we cannot save proof of them.
I can't wait to be a die hard dance mom one day. I will be that mother making my child show me everything she learned every week, and oh yeah she will be practicing at home 24-7. But I promise to never be like Abby's Dance Mom's. Promise.
I want three children. NOT all at once. My husband only wants two. I say, the more kids, the more love.
