A few weeks ago my friend Kaylee and I went shopping together.  We both ended up getting the shirt and shorts I'm wearing above. Well last night Kaylee and her boyfriend came to see me in LC and we went to the casino out here. This morning they were going to the beach about 2 hours away from my house for her birthday. So what was she wearing this morning? What you see above. I figured, why think about what to wear today, I'm just going to wear what she had on! Not like we'd see each other for the rest of the day!
Larry and I had a picnic by the lake today! The weather was perfect for it too.. warm and just a little breezey. I can't wait to do this more often because my new job is in the building across from his.. which are both across from the lake :)

So maybe I have a skirt obsession.

Anddd maybe I should explain this whole short hair one day, long hair the next, and then back to short... I got me some tracks! Aka extensions. Haha! My hair was this long 4 years ago, but right before I started college I got this crazy idea that I needed to get rid of my "high school hair." What was I thinking? I wasn't. I've been trying to grow my hair out ever since. I guess since I highlight my hair so much (I'm not a natural blonde, shocker! haha not) it's too damaged to grow. I've been taking biotin now, and it seems like my hair is finally growing and I'm hoping it'll be this length by the end of the year. Then I'll just use these extensions to make my hair thicker. :)

Happy Memorial Day everyone! Today I spent the day with Larry. We went buy a washer and dryer, and his cousin cut our jungle for us since we don't have a lawn mower yet. Then we went spend the evening at Larry's other cousin's house for some burgers on the grill. It's cool to get to spend time and get closer to his family now that we live out here... I'm sure I'll be missing that time with my family soon though (for my mom reading this ;).

Excuse my sick eyes in the second photo! I've been dealing with allergy and sinus issues galore the past 4 days. I've probably sneezed like 400 times. No lie. I went to the doctor yesterday and all they could give me was a steroid shot because they said I didn't have any infection.  Okay I guess I should stop typing because little Miss Charlie keeps hitting the keyboard.. I guess she wants my attention haha! I hope you all had a lovely holiday!

I am officially moved into my beautiful house!  My sister is out of school for the summer so she came to spend a few days with me. [Larry is staying at his Granny's a couple miles down the road until the wedding] Yesterday we went to the Goodwill and this thrift store called Bargain World. I found two dresses at Bargain World,  but as for the Goodwill out here... IT SUCKS. Like ya'll I'm so depressed. My blog's name is GOODWILLista, what the heck am I gonna do when I can't find no clothes at the Goodwill?! (double negatives just happen when you're mad, k?) And I know not all of the outfits I've been posting on here have thrifted items, but they're all cheap! Is that okay with ya'll that I post outfits even though they don't have thrifted things? Does that go against my blog name? Kinda... but I think as long as they're cheap, that's alright.

I leave you with my little poo who is hating having to wear a leash since we don't have a fenced in yard just yet... just look at her pouting!

I wore this the other day, and while at Subway the worker told me she liked my swag! Haha! I'm not quite sure what it means, but I'll take it as a compliment! I wore an outfit similar to this one a couple weeks ago and I got a compliment on my swag then too! I guess I just got swag...? ;)

So y'all, I took my bridal portraits Tuesday, and man was it an adventure!! I'll save that story for another day.. Maybe even tomorrow? But if you follow along already, you all know what tomorrow means to me... A week later haha!

this girl's a college graduate!

I've already gotten to share one of my most special days with ya'll (my bridal shower), and now I get to share another... graduation!  It feels SO amazing to be DONE. After 17 years of school, I have had enough! I used to be one of those people that loved school. Somehow this last semester has made me have a change of heart though. This semester was a tough one, but I am proud to say that I finished it with a 4.0. I ended with a cumulative GPA of 3.5553, which means I graduated with honors!

Though I am glad to be done, I have to say that I will forever cherish all of the great memories I made at Southeastern Louisiana University.  It's the place where I met my soulmate, made amazing friendships, was offered awesome opportunities like the Disney College Program and study abroad to Costa Rica, and where I became an adult. Choosing Southeastern was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

On to the pictures from graduation!!

Lace Top: Forever 21 Old
Skirt: Target $6 (clearance)
Necklace: Versona, Gift carded
Born Concept Wedges: TJ Maxx $50
Total Outfit Cost: $56

I know what you're thinking.. yesterday I passed up those wedges at $20, but today I'm wearing $50 wedges... hmm.  Well last summer, I found these wedges at TJ Maxx and they were THE most comfortable wedges I have ever stepped in. It was love at first try on.  $50 is high for me, but they're nude and I knew they would match a lot so I'd get a lot of wear out of them.  What I don't think I'll be getting a lot of wear out of is this skirt.  I don't know what else I could wear it with other than a white top. Any suggestions??

Today I'm at my house in Lake Charles being Cinderella, cleaning and unpacking more junk stuff.  Y'all. I'm a hoarder. I have SO much stuff. Ohmygosh. It's never ending. BUT this is the first time in my life that I'll feel like I have enough room for all of my stuff. Filled up my closet? Oh well, I got two more to fill ;) ...actually 4 if you count those linen closets!

Sooo after all those interviews, guess who got a job... this girl!! Meet your new Flo.
Okayyyy. Just kidding! But everyone keeps saying I should replace her! That's your hint to my first ever big girl job (aka career!) that I'll be starting in June! I am SO excited! It's the job I wanted from the second I read the job description online.

On to my outfit... See those wedges? That's what you get when you stop in Target once a week. I spotted these wedges when they first came out, but for 40 buckaroos I wasn't about to get them just yet.  A few weeks later they went to $35.. still nahh. A couple more weeks past... $20! I'll take em'!!

My Bridal Shower Brunch [part I]

Larry and I's bridal shower was this weekend! Yes, we were un-traditional and Larry came to the shower! I'm happy he did because is was fun opening all the amazing gifts we received from all of our awesome friends and family together!

The theme was brunch, and of course y'all know me and I had to save money any way I can, so we had the shower at my mom's house. We had the bridesmaids and close family each bring some food and drinks so my parents didn't have to splurge any more on this wedding. We also used the decorations that we plan to use for the wedding. One of my mawmaw's has an antique shop, so she had a TON of dishes that we used. My other mawmaw used to go to auctions a lot so she had a lot of stuff for us to use also. And other stuff we picked up at thrift stores.

This beautiful cake was made by my maid of honor, Adele!
