Truth be told, this is what I wore on St. Patty's day. If I were an organized blogger, I would have planned this post out to be posted ON St. Patty's day. But I'm not. I usually write a post the night before it goes live, or sometimes if I'm lucky, or a couple nights before. When you see an outfit on the blog, it could've been worn the day before or it could've been worn 2 weeks ago. When I first started blogging a couple years ago, I was more on track with my outfits and I'd post them either the day of or the day after.

So I'm curious, bloggy friends, are you an organized blogger? Do you post your outfits the same day you wore them or later?

  1. What a cute St. Patrick's day outfit. I usually post my outfit photos a few days after I wear them.

  2. I tend to have a backlog of 4-5 photos to pick from each day, so they go up on the blog anywhere from the day after to 2 weeks after. I find this lets me do a weeks worth of blogging on Sunday if I know I'll have a crazy week!

  3. I used to post an outfit on the same day I wore it. Now I'm generally a day behind. I use my blog to keep track of my outfits, weather, etc. so I want to keep it as close as possible. If I did it any other way, I'd probably end up wearing the same skirt to teach in three times in a row.

  4. Unorganized, but you already knew that! If I write a post in advance at all, I feel pretty on top of things. I usually write them right before I post them :/

  6. Oh my gosh, I am so awful at being organized...but it's something I am REALLY trying to work on. When I first started blogging, I would take my outfit photos in the morning, edit them quickly, write a little post, and press "publish" before I went to work. Now, however, I don't do that at all. Through the winter, I would take my outfit photos in batches (terrible lighting before and after work - so I would do them on the weekends in the midmorning where I had decent lighting). Then I would have a selection of like 10-15 outfits to blog about, haha. I'd like to start taking my photos the day I wear them instead of a week or two of outfits at a time, so we'll see how that goes...

  7. Ehhhh...I think as long as we're not posting winter outfits in the dead of summer, then it's fine. Yeah? That's what I tell myself when I fall behind.

  9. Cute! Most times my outfit posts are delayed by a week or two because I have other content that fills days. Plus, I think it's a lot of work to post things on the same day you wear them! I used to do that when I first started blogging. I think back then most people were posting day-of so I thought you were supposed to do that, but nowadays a lot of blogs I read are delayed so I don't feel so bad about it. Hehe :)

  10. Cute outfit! I totally forgot to wear green on St. Patty's! I take my outfit pictures a few days before, but I only post one outfit a week, so I always have time.

  11. I'm organized, but delayed! :-) I am usually about 1-2 weeks behind when I actually wear something to when it gets posted. Sometimes I will go out of order if the weather changes a bit and I want to get my more wintry looks posted. But it's tricky when the weather is so unpredictable!

  12. I've got that same blazer - looks great on you with the green and leopard. I'm usually behind (or really ahead?) in my posts, too

  13. I'm like Andi--I generally blog outfits in the right order...just 5 or 6 days behind when I actually wore them!

  14. I love green paired with leopard print. I actually wore green and leopard on St. Patty's Day too. LOL! I don't usually blog an outfit that I wore until days (or sometimes a week!) after I wore it. Unless I get really behind then it's yesterday's outfit that I have live on the blog. lol

  15. Pretty! I love leopard print paired with a bold color!
I try to be organized but sometimes life gets in the way. Chances are high that what you see on the blog I wore several weeks prior.

  16. I try to do most of my blogging over the weekend. I usually put it off until Sunday because it can feel like homework sometimes! Haha. My outfits are usually several weeks behind. I'll try to take 3-4 outfit pics a week sometimes more on a good week. If I add a non-outfit post then I'll be ahead on outfits and have several to choose from. When I was doing the IG challenge last month, I would rearrange things to match the challenge. Our thrifty link up post outfit was from a month prior! I think as long as your outfit matches the current season, you're good. If you hadn't said when you actually write this outfit, I would have assumed it was recent!
