Lately I've kinda been in a funk when it comes to getting dressed. I just haven't been loving anything I put together. I feel like all I want to wear is big oversized sweaters that will cover my butt so I can wear leggings as pants. Problem is, I can't find any long sweaters! So, I gotta just work with what I got. What do you do when you don't know what to do with what ya got? You turn to Pinterest. As soon as I ordered this sweater, I looked on Pinterest for some pinspiration on how to style it. I got my pinspiration for this outfit from this pin and this pin put together.  Buttt as much as I love Pinterest and as much as I love this mustard sweater, I still just wanna wear big sweaters! Is that too much for a gal to ask?? People, please, where do I find the big sweaters?

our wedding, part I: getting ready

The morning of our wedding day was great. My bridesmaids, mom, nanny, and mother-n-law met me at Amber Nichol Salon where we had out hair and makeup done. My mom and sister were initially so stressed that they wouldn't have all of us done in time for the wedding, but they did it... with time to spare. I never stressed though. In all the time leading up to the wedding ceremony I never felt stressed once. For the first time in a while, I felt zero anxiety.  All morning I was so at ease. I was just so happy. I knew that this was all God's plan for me, that I was walking down the right path, the path to marry Larry. (hehe I rhymed ;)
Ps. YES, I am completely picture happy. It's so hard to choose, so I choose to show many. Hope you don't mind!

Happy Monday, Y'all! Are most of you off work? Cause unfortunately I am not. :( I actually had only a one day weekend because I worked on Saturday, while my lovely husband had a 3 day weekend. I am envious to say the least. I can't wait till the week of thanksgiving. I have off Tuesday till Sunday, and I'll be going to the deer lease to go hunting and relaxing too of course.

Also! Today is my Charlie Poo's 1st birthday! Oh man how I love this little pup. She isn't the smartest or the most behaved (or behaved at all) dog, but she is rambunctious and is full of personality.

Can you tell she just loves her birthday t-shirt? Which by the way I got at garage sale for 50 cents ;)

Yeesh, please excuse the fact that these dang pants look so stretched out and frumpster in this picture. Like I've said before, I take my pictures when I get home from work, so my hair never looks perfect and my clothes are always wrinkly. Starting in December though, I'll have to start working the 9-6 shift so by the time I get home it'll be dark (dang time change). I suppose I'll have to start giving myself 5 minutes in the morning to snap some blog pics!

Ps don't forget to shop my closet! There are too many things left ;)

When I saw this dress on Old Navy's website, it screamed Danielle! Lucky me, not only the dress screamed at me, so did the price! It was totally meant to be. I just love the pop of turquoise on the navy!

Y'all, I had THE most productive weekend!.Larry went hunting for the weekend, so I spent the weekend with me, myself, and I... and Charlie ;).  I started my weekend off garage sale-ing Saturday morning. I got a few goodies, but nothing too significant enough to share. Then, I got home and cleaned the whole house. After that I relaxed a bit and watched a little Netflix. Then I went shopping. I went to Ross, TJ Maxx, Target, Hobby Lobby, and Goodwill. All I ended up getting was some Christmas ornaments because we have a whole tree to decorate for the very first time, so I'm trying to pick up ornaments here and there instead of having to spend a ton buying them all at once. After shopping, I picked up some yummy Mexican food to go and went home and sat on my couch pigging out. Saturday night I set up my shop my closet page. Which, I have to say, took a lot of work so I am very proud of myself for getting it done in such a timely manner!
Sunday I did a lot of laundry and watched a whole lotta Netflix. I also started writing thank you's for our wedding gifts. Then once I finally got dressed I brought a bag of Larry and I's clothes to Plato's closet (clothes that didn't make the cut for shop my closet) and made $87... yepp I was excited. Then, I went to Walmart to shop for groceries. Hoping I bought enough to last us a month.. I HATE going grocery shopping with a passion. I'd totally pay someone to do it if I weren't so cheap. Then I went home, prepped Monday's dinner and fixed Larry and I's lunches. I finished off the weekend with more laundry and Netflix. Production at it's best!

october budget

OCTOBER

1. Target Dress: $12
I found this dress on the clearance rack, and I loveee the fall colors and the print. It's not something I was actually looking to buy, but my co-worker said it was a must buy ;)

2. Zara Cardigan: $9.99
I have been searching for a mustard cardigan for over a year! Can't believe I finally found one.. I have so many outfit ideas for it!

3. Old Navy Dress: $5
This dress was on clearance online for $10 and then the clearance was 20% off the day I ordered it, so that made it $8 + $7 shipping - $10 left on a gift card from Chippmunk= $5! I call that a score.

4. Sweater: Garage Sale $0.50
Yepp, just 50 cent, baby. I <3 garage sale-ing.

5. Blouse: Goodwill $2.99
This blouse is perfection and I want more blouses like it!

Total Spent: $30.48

I've been following Fran for a while, so I've known about her budgeting bloggers link up, and I've been wanting to link up ever since, but I just never took the time to actually keep track of what I spent each month on clothes. But finally, FINALLY I kept track! I'm really not sure what my monthly budget is just yet, because Larry and I are still getting used to sharing a bank account, and I'm still getting used to an actual salary. I don't really know what an appropriate amount to spend is yet. Maybe keeping track of what I spend each month will help me to come up with an actual budget? How did you come up with your budget?
