I got this dress over the summer and planned this outfit out in my head to wear for the fall.  Then, I found this  picture of actress, Hayden Panettiere, on Pinterest. Yepp great minds think alike? But I bet her outfit wasn't under 60 bucks!

None of my outfit today is thrifted! That rarely happens for me! I wanted to post this outfit anyways because I wanted to show you that you could still shop in regular stores and not spend much. I got this skirt at the White House|Black Market outlet this weekend. It was originally $88.00! Then, marked down to 49.99, then I have no idea how but it got down to $9.99! I really wish I had a denim jacket to wear with this, but I can't find one at a thrift store! Anyone know of where I could find one for an affordable price?

I got this gorgeous dress at a garage sale this weekend when me and my momma Goodwillista went garage sale-ing! I think she was jealous that it was my size because she loves it. ;) We found a lottttt of stuff this weekend, I'll see if I can get to posting pictures of it all.  I got this skirt over the summer, and I almost forgot I even had it. Funny thing about it is that one day I was extremely curious as to how other bloggers knew that some of their stuff is vintage. So, I googled it and I found this article: 11 Ways to Know its Vintage by Labels and Tags. #1 is Union Labels. Well, the next day while at Goodwill with my mom, I spotted this skirt with this beautiful floral print. I tried it on and had to have it. Then I checked out the tag, and surely enough, a union label!

Does anyone have any tips/tricks on how to tell if something is vintage?

So, you're probably thinking, Wear to Work Wednesday should be on WEDNESDAY, right? Well, I normally post my outfit when I get home from work, but when I got home last night, I heard a ssssssssssss sound.... Luckily I looked to see what it was because it was my tire going flat. -__- My boyfriend, Larry, came to save the night though and change the tire for me! There was a nail in it. Oh joy. So, that's my excuse for not posting this last night. I hope it's a good enough one ;)

By the way, I don't particularly love this outfit. For some reason the cardigan with the skirt makes me look like a flight attendant. I guess that's suiting since I work at an airport? haha

Okay, so I'll admit, I didn't actually wear this outfit anywhere. But I wanted to show you how great Pinterest is! I came across this photo of Rachel Bilson, and I totally had all of these pieces in my closet.  Sometimes we all get used to wearing the same shirt with the same bottoms and the same shoes and jewelry, but if you browse under the "Women's Fashion" tab on Pinterest you get some inspiration (or what I can 'pinspiration') for outfits you can put together from clothes you already have!

Be prepared to see lots of colored jeans on here! Along with my bubble necklace obsession, I am lovingggg colored jeans. I already have sunshine yellow, purple, cobalt, mint, and burgundy with polkadots. And I don't plan on stopping. I'm still looking for mustard yellow and  some sort of pretty pink. I'm SOOO excited that I finally got a bubble necklace! I had been seeing so many outfits on Pinterest with them, and I fell in LOVE. I searched for one on Etsy, but ya know me, I didn't want to pay over $15.00 for one PLUS like $8 for shipping. I'm just too cheap for that! So then I turned to Ebay where I won mine for only $7.60 and FREE shipping!

Not often can you put something on at the Goodwill and it fit perfectly. Especially blazers because so many people have them tailored to fit themselves. Well, whoever donated this blazer was exactly my size! It's a perfect fit and SO versatile! A simple blazer can be dressed up for work like I did with this pencil skirt or dressed down with some jeans!

I spent this past Sunday with my mom and sister.  It's always great to have some momma-daughter time, right? We went to see Pitch Perfect, which is totally hilarious and everyone should definitely go see it! Though, did anyone else notice that the part on the previews where "Fat Amy" says she's good at bikini car washes wasn't even in the movie? Anyways, after the movie we met up with an old friend of mine and her mom (who is actually still one of my mom's bffs) to get some coffee at CC's. Then, we went to the evening service at church. When we got home mom had cooked gumbo! Yummmmmm. It was absolutely delish. A perfect ending to our wonderful day together :)

Friday's Finds!

Today I went run errands with my mom, and we justttt so happened to pass a few garage sales. Of course we had to stop! I work every Saturday 7 to 7, so I don't really get to garage sale often. So, I was pretty excited to see a few on a Friday. As much as I love the Goodwill, garage sales are really the place for a bargain. Check out what we got:

We also went to Walmart, and there was some swimwear on clearance for a DOLLAR! Yepp, just ONE! All they had was a top in my size, but I definitely got it. Who would pass up a bikini top for just a dollar? Plus, I already have some colorful bottoms that would go perfect with it. :)

Bargain Shopping Tip!

Now is really the time to be shopping for your next years summer wardrobe! Many stores are wanting to make room for all of their fall/winter wear, so they put the summer clothes/shoes/jewelry on sale. So, next time you walk into a store, go straight for that clearance rack and steal up those deals before someone else does! ;)

If you know me, you know that I rarely wear my hair in a ponytail when I'm all dressed up.
