I realized the other day that I have a lot of items in my closet that I just don't wear but I just can't seem to get rid of. Usually, I go through my closet every once in a while and bag up the stuff that I don't wear and then donate it. I'm thinking of selling some of the items that I feel like I may be hanging on to and just don't want to giveaway. Thing is, I'm just not sure on how I should go about selling. Should I post the clothes on here for y'all to shop my closet, and just send the bill through Paypal? Or should I use a site like Poshmark? Any suggestions/tips/help is welcome!! :)

  1. I'm not a blogger, so I can't speak about selling things on your blog, but i do notice that most sell their stuff through ebay and poshmark.
Personally, I've had far more luck through ebay than poshmark, but I think it would depend on what you're selling.

I'm a fairly new follower and I love your blog! I've bought things from thrift stores maybe twice ever, but you're inspiring me to do it more often!

  2. There is an option on paypal where people can send money to a friend. It is free if you pay via bank account on paypal. Post the pics here please!

  3. I don't know if we're the same size, but I would totally Shop your closet! I much prefer when bloggers do that, and I've purchased from other bloggers before as well! :)

  4. I have had the most success with eBay. It takes some work but that's how I have made the most. If you have a Plato's closet, that's an easy option. There's also a newer consignment website called thred up.

  5. I use Tictail. It was the easiest one for me to set up after signing up for Poshmark and Store Envy. You can check it out on my blog "shop my closet"

  6. I've been thinking about doing the same for my charity shop. Was just thinking paypal for simplicity, but might check out TicTail too.... I also like ASOS Marketplace

  7. I think a site like Poshmark is your best bet. You can always link your blog to there and vise versa - I think it's a great idea! I know a few bloggers who use their "closet" money as what they're allowed to use for shopping that month and if I was your size, I'd be buying everything because you find such cute things lol Good luck!

  8. I personally would rather shop someone's blog or purchase on Instagram. Poshmark is kind of a hassle.

  9. Well with Poshmark, you'd have to give them a cut. If you post pictures on here first, we can leave comments or email you if we'd like to buy something. Or use the free site Storenvy.com like I do and leave a link on the side of your blog for us to shop your closet. I'd love to see what you'd like to sell!
