Yes, I know I totally look like a basic white girl with my Starbucks in hand, BUT that is not a pumpkin spice latte.  Call me crazy but I don't even like their PSLs! I think their bitter and gross. (I do love everything pumpkin though. I made these pumpkin spice cupcakes last week. They are SO easy to make and not to mention delish!) My Starbucks drink of choice is a white chocolate mocha... yummmm.

This is what I wore Friday to go trick or treating. We went with Larry's 2 year old Godchild and our 3 month old baby nephew. Let me tell you about my husband... he's funny. His sister was carrying the baby and Larry would walk up to the house with the baby's candy bucket with her to get candy for himself! I swear he's a mess. Our poor future children.. their daddy will most definitely be stealing all of their candy!

I'm not exactly sure why, but this is probably one of my favorite outfits ever. Maybe it's because  I've got on my new favorite boots, my favorite color combo- mustard and navy, and one of my best goodwill finds- this AE tee!

Larry as a jester (he had a scary mask but couldn't wear it in front of the kids) and Charlie poo as a ballerina :)

  1. I have the same exact American Eagle tee that I also scored at a Goodwill! I love it!

  3. You two are seriously adorable. And hey, they don't call it the Parent Tax for nothing!

I absolutely love this outfit! I've been drawn to similar boots just because they give a rest to the typical cognac boot! Yours are perfection. I can see why they're your favorite :)

  4. This is such a great outfit!! I don't like PSL either. And when I found out what they allegedly put in PSLs (you can see it here) I was good to never even try one again. But again. Love the outfit.

  5. I don't like PSLs from Starbucks either, but that's because I think they're way too sweet. I like to make really strong and bitter homemade ones.
This outfit is perfect, and I just realized that I have all of these pieces (except a mustard scarf. Hmm), so I think I'll have to recreate it sometime soon!

  7. I love this outfit, too! It just looks cute but so easy/comfy! And I'm also anti-PSL (but I'm anti-coffee and anti-pumpkin, so it doesn't really stand a chance!

  8. This is probably my favorite of everything you've ever worn too! I absolutely LOVE it! From the color scheme to the layers and the pattern. It's fall perfection!! I'm going to have to hunt down a gingham shirt so I can recreate it!!

And I know all about candy stealing on the Halloween front! The kids and I have to come up with new hiding places each year because my husband always finds it! haha Men! Can't live with them, can't live without them! ;)

  11. What a fantastic outfit, Danielle! I really like how cute and casual you look, but totally appropriate for a night out trick-or-treating with the kiddos! I was coming up with outfit ideas in my closet the other day and I came up with one very similar to this, but with a striped button up instead of gingham - I'll have to try it out and see if I look hafl as cute as you do in yours ;)

  12. Love this outfit! I haven't had the courage to try pumpkin spice lattes... I think I'll just stick with my white chocolate mochas, too! :)

  13. Love this Fall outfit, and I love white chocolate mochas too! I took some pics with a coffee cup in hand when I visited Canada and went to their "famous" gas station/coffee shop, and I almost hated myself for it, but I HAD to!!

    ♥ perfectly Priya
