little navy dress

little navy dress
Dress: Target, gift carded
Necklace: Forever 21 $9
Heels: Just Fab $40
Total Outfit Cost: $49

I had every intention of blogging this week. I really did. I'd really love to catch up on my outfits. But my mom came to spend the week with me while Larry was gone on a business trip, and spending time with her is way more fun and more important than blogging! Tonight we are working on a very special project with her silhouette machine. I can't wait to share it with y'all in a couple of weeks! Have any of you used a silhouette machine before? This is only our second time using hers. It's really tedious for me. I'm kind of too impatient for it. I do like actually designing on it though!

It's so funny, I put my mom to work every time she comes visit. Tuesday I made her cook me a big pot of red beans and a pot of black beans. Beans are my favorite and I can't cook them to save my life (ok, I've only tried twice.. and we threw it away). So that's why I make her make me a lot, so I can freeze them and eat them whenever I like! My momma is the best cook. Too bad I didn't inherit her skillz!

  3. I don't get to comment often (though I read EVERY one of your posts) because I'm always short for time, but I had to stop to tell you how perfect this dress is on you! It looks like it was made for you and I can just see so many ways to wear it. Might have to go get one for myself! ;) Glad you made time for us this week, I always love your posts!

  8. I never would have guessed that beans are your favorite! Are beans a popular thing in Louisiana or is it just a Danielle thing? ha. But seriously, I love this outfit on you- you should wear it all the time.

  13. I absolutely love your dress in this post! Not to mention that your hair is perfection. You'll have to post a tutorial because I am kind of crushing on your gorgeous locks and style.

  14. How in the heck are you so dang cute?! I love this dress on you. I also just have to tell you how much I love your clean, simple sense of style. You always look so polished and you don't need to layer on all the things like so many other bloggers do. I've been feeling kind of bad about my simple/plain outfits lately and wondering whether or not I should share them on my blog, but then I see simple but lovely outfits like this and I think to myself, "Yes! Channel your inner Danielle!!" :)
