Larry and I's bridal shower was this weekend! Yes, we were un-traditional and Larry came to the shower! I'm happy he did because is was fun opening all the amazing gifts we received from all of our awesome friends and family together!
The theme was brunch, and of course y'all know me and I had to save money any way I can, so we had the shower at my mom's house. We had the bridesmaids and close family each bring some food and drinks so my parents didn't have to splurge any more on this wedding. We also used the decorations that we plan to use for the wedding. One of my mawmaw's has an antique shop, so she had a TON of dishes that we used. My other mawmaw used to go to auctions a lot so she had a lot of stuff for us to use also. And other stuff we picked up at thrift stores.
This beautiful cake was made by my maid of honor, Adele!

I feel like we have the same style when it comes to stuff like this. Seriously, everything that's going to be decor at my wedding was thrifted. Or I made it, lol.

ReplyDeleteThis is the best function room in the city. The food they served was warm, fresh and tasty, and the panoramic window is a sight to behold on a clear day.
