I bought this blazer from an instagram shop, so it's not something that I was able to try on prior to buying.  I had a feeling it might be a little big on me, but I said what the heck, and bought it with hope that it'd fit. Unfortunately, it did turn out to be a little big. It's already what's considered a boyfriend blazer, but I still don't think it fits like it's supposed to. So, I thought to even it out I'd wear something super girly and some tight pants. I think this outfit is just ok. Kinda boring. Oh well. If you have any insight on styling this blazer, throw it at me!
I'm so glad it's Friday! I'm back to the Monday-Friday shift at work, so you know what that means?? Garage sale-ing on Saturdays!! I'm actually going to my hometown this weekend, so my mom and I will be going hit up some yard sales first thing in the morning. I can't wait!

  3. I like how you've styled it! It would look cute over a summery dress, too! But I love it with the skinnies and floral top!

  4. I think this looks super cute! I am a blazer fan all the way. Maybe I would pair it with a printed bottom or colored denim of some kind. I also love to wear my black blazer with printed or woven scarves.. it kind of adds texture in addition to color for me. I also LOVE throwing on a vintage brooch... which can sound a little crazy but it adds a level of fun and is so easy! -Alexandra

  6. I actually think you styled it perfectly! The floral top and pretty shoes look great and you've kept the silhouette of your overall look perfectly balanced.

  7. That top is so pretty! I like the mix of floral and stripes in one top. That just means you can match either pattern! I need a pair of black ankle pants. It's too hard to find certain things at Goodwill like basic blue jeans or anything black. I don't think I have the patience to look through them all and try to determine what they look like on. There are certain things-- like good basic tees, that are better found elsewhere. Haha

  8. I really like this top. I am all for wearing my black blazers especially faking a suit with them. Those bow flats are adorable. I am reminded that I own a similar jelly pair in that beautiful blush shade. =)

  9. I'd love to see you style this with a dress. Maybe your lace dress? I think you have some really cute fitted resses that could look amazing with the blazer-- like a "I've got a secret under my blazer" look. Or I'd go casual with shorts and a tee and play the blazer off like a grandpa cardigan.
