The other day I stopped in the Goodwill for just a quick run through. When I do my quickie trips I typically look through the houseware/junk, shoes, and dresses. After my pass through the houseware, I noticed one of the workers with a huge buggy of shoes waiting to be put out. And on the top of the buggy? These Hunter rain boots. In. My. Size! AND my favorite color! You better believe I snatched them up real quick and didn't put them down till they were safe in my car. When I was waiting in line to check out these two young (college-age looking) girls saw the boots and said "oh my God, did you find those HERE?" And I was all like "yeahhhh omg, I'm like the thrifting queeen." Ok just kidding. But no really. These boots are something I would absolutely never own if it wasn't for me thrifting them. To be honest, if it wasn't for blogging, I'd have no clue what the heck Hunter Wellies were! I still don't understand why anyone would pay $150 for rainboots, but that's just me! If I didn't know better, I'd think the Goodwill was crazy for up pricing them to $9. ;)
What an awesome find!!! I have been wanting rain boots but being that we've been in a draught for the last 2 years, it just does not make sense to buy any. Love the color!

So, so jealous of this find! And I agree, I would never buy a pair of them unless they were at a thrift shop because that much for a solid color rainboot is ridiculous, even though they do have all the perfect colors haha
Yeah, this is an amazing find. I'm with you, though, I've seen these in stores but only once on an actual person here. Enjoy your mega find, they are adorable!
I saw this on instagram, wow $9!! That's awesome! I bought mine online at Nordstrom... ouch. I have the forest green because I wanted something for fall/winter... but every spring I wish I had a brighter color... so maybe I'll have to get a second pair. Though I am not sure mine fit well. ramble ramble... anyhow these are so cute! They look really nice with navy. :) XO-Alexandra
I'm impressed! Such an awesome find - especially the color and price tag! I got my Hunters as a gift, but still, the full price tag is a little gut wrenching.
Seriously, change your blog name to Queen Goodwillista. You amaze me ALL OF THE TIME. Show me your ways. Show me your ways. Also, could the rest of your outfit be any cuter? I think not.
Oh no you DIDN'T! Girlfriend! That is a score for all time. I definitely invested in a pair of Hunter Boots. I love 'em, but thinking about how much I paid still makes me wince. What's worse is that I would love a pair in another color...which is SO not happening unless I find mine at Goodwill ;) nice work!!
I can't believe your score on these boots!! It's moments like these where you know the thrifting gods are looking down on you when they provide you with that perfect item. I had no idea what Hunter boots were and they come in some crazy colors that are hard to match! I definitely wouldn't pay full price for them. Plus, I like in Cali (for just a few more days!) where we are in a crazy drought and it rains like 3 times a year in my town so I couldn't justify paying that much. I think I've only worn my rainboots like twice since I got them two years ago. Anyway, great find! Is this your favorite find yet?
