dressing room diaries: goodwill

I went to the Goodwill twice this month and here are some of the goodies that I found:

Is this not the most perfect and adorable LBD you have ever seen? This may be one of my favorite thrifting finds ever. The brand is Ganni, and I looked it up and this dress would sell for $100 or more! What a score for only $6. (a huge thanks to my Goodwill for not knowing this name brand because if they did, they'd probably stick a $20 tag on it)

It was a day for pretty dresses, because this ombre Lauren Conrad dress also came home with me. I can't wait to wear this in the spring! ($6)

I tried this skirt on because I thought it would look like those pretty tulle skirts that lots of bloggers have been wearing (btw WHERE would you actually wear one of those skirts anyways?!). It just wan't working for me. Not that I could justify wearing this anywhere.

This dress I thought would be cute for work, it was too thin and short though, so I passed.

I am SO mad at myself for not getting this target dress! If this was at my local Goodwill I would have gone back to get it, unfortunately this was at the one 20 minutes from my house, and this girl just don't go that far on a daily basis. #aintnobodygottimeforallthat

This dress was so pretty on the hanger, but not too pretty on me.

I did get this denim vest, but I am now noticing that it's too big near my arm pits. I think I'll keep it for now. ($3)

Have you been thrifting lately? Find any goodies? I'd love to hear about them if so!

  1. Those first 2 dresses are so pretty! I am bad at thrifting, so I kind of gave up on going, but I'm so impressed with your finds!!

  2. so glad you got those first two dresses. i think those are purple pants you're wearing at the first store, but i LOVE the way they look under the black dress! throw on a leopard belt and a leather jacket and you've got an outfit. tunics are so in for spring~

  5. Are you kidding?? Of course I found some goodies! Just wait for Monday's post when I show all the thrifted things I bought this month. Oh boy there's a lot!

I'm excited to see how you pair those dresses! That LBD will be worn a ton I'm sure! You should have got that striped one, it looks super cute! But I understand about driving that far just for a goodwill.

Hey I noticed you won a giveaway on Chelandthecity.blogspot.com. She listed your name and the email to claim your prize so I'm not sure she'll be notifying you. Go claim those glasses!!

  6. Great dresses! I have a cream and chocolate ruffled dress kind of like that that I haven't worn yet... but I love the idea. It's not quite as flowy or thin.. it's more semi-formally.. so less versatile.. but still great. :) My hubby and I are heading to NOLA this March. Any tips or recommendations? :) -Alexandra

  11. Ahhh, I would be mad at myself if I didn't buy that striped dress. It looks SO lovely on you! And I have never seen a dress quite like the ombre one, which is why I like it so much. Pink looks great on you :)
