Sweater: Garage Sale FIFTY FRIGGIN' CENTS, Y'ALL
Shirt: Old Navy (clearance) $8
Jeans: Old Navy (sale + super cash) $11.25
Belt: Goodwill $1
Boots: $40
Total Outfit Cost: $60.75

Who's the thriftiest of them all? ...YOU AREEE.
This sweater is definitely one of my most favorite garage sale finds ever. I remember seeing it, there it was, lying on a blanket on the ground in a small pile of clothes. It's coziness intrigued me, so I picked up. No price tag (which drives me nuts by the way- no one wants to go to your garage sale and keep asking you how much evertyhing is!). I looked at it and was excited to see that it was the slouchy style cardigan that I had been searching for, but I wasn't so sure about the color/pattern at first. (Why? I have no clue, because now I'm in love with it!) I asked the lady how much. She said 50 cents. I accepted. And that is the story of how this beauty came home with me.

If you're wondering why I am posting a craptastic mirror picture it's because somehow this outfit has been worn THREE times, and I haven't gotten a picture of it. This mirror picture was actually the second time I wore the outfit. How is it that some of my favorite closet items and outfits take the longest to make it to the blog? No idea.

  1. 50 cents? You have to be kidding me. I love the colors and the edging of the sweater. And your hair looks so cute! If you're ever in Maryland, show me how to thrift and garage sale shop.

  4. That's such a funky sweater but it looks so cozy! I really like this look with your brown belt and boots. So so cute Danielle! There are things I feel like I wear a lot that still haven't made it onto the blog. How is that even possible??

  5. I love that sweater so much, and it looks great belted! I always see pictures of belted cardigans/sweaters and blazers and I think it looks so cute and then when I try to do it I feel like it looks stupid. Probably these dern hips getting in the way.
