I wore this beautiful maxi dress to church last Sunday with my boyfriend. I wish I would have gotten a picture of us together because he wore a button down that I found him at the Goodwill. Next time he wears it I'll definitely be stealing a picture ;)

I found this terrible long skirt at the Goodwill in Mobile, AL a couple of weeks ago. I loved the print of it so I decided that I would buy it and hem it. I LOVE the way it turned out!

Here is my best friend, Adele, pinning it for me.

Another Purple Top

I'm not really sure what this top is supposed to be. A vest? A tank top? I don't know, but I like it! My mom and I found it at the Goodwill in Denham Springs. She found me these shorts from one of the Goodwills in our area last summer, and they fit perfect. She somehow knows my size better than I do! My sandals were a steal! Rackroom Shoes almost always has buy one get one half off, and these were my half off pair that were already on clearance for $10. I got these $40 sandals for 5 bucks!
Top: Goodwill $3.49
Shorts: Goodwill $3.49
Sandals: Rackroom Shoes $5.00
Tank: Forever 21 $2.80
Total Outfit Cost: $14.78

Blue Jean Baby #2

Blue Jean Dress: Goodwill $3.49
Wedges: America's Thrift Store (Mobile, AL) $2.40
Belt: Goodwill $0.99
Bracelet: $5.00
Total Outfit Cost: $11.88

A while back I found the outfit below on Pinterest, and knew I HAD to have a blue jean button up shirt! So, what better place to find one than the Goodwill? I had been looking through the button up shirts for a couple of weeks for one, and finally came across this dress. At first I thought it was gonna look tacky or not fit right, but after trying it on, it was the perfect fit! These wedges were also an awesome find in Mobile on our trip home from watching Ben play for the Atlanta Braves. I'm still in awe that they were only $2.40!

Gotta find a top like this at the goodwill!

Has anyone felt thrifty lately? Tell me about your Goodwill finds!

Blue Jean Baby

A couple weeks ago I spent a Saturday with one of my best friends, Cody. We got snowballs, went to the Goodwill, and hung out by his pond. It was around 100 degrees that day so please excuse my hair. ;)
Romper: Goodwill $4.99
Belt: Goodwill $0.99
Bracelet: Costa Rican Humanitarian Society $5.00

Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful, hot summer!

Refashioned Goodwill Clutch & Sandals

I found this tutorial on painting a chevron on to a clutch on Pinterest, and I lately I love anything with a chevron on it. I went to the Goodwill specifically looking for a little white pleather clutch, and somehow I found exactly that! I paid $2.99 for it because the cashier rang me up for a purse instead of a clutch (should have been $0.99), but no biggie. Here it is:

This is the tutorial I used:

And Voila!

My mom found some B.O.C. sandals at the Goodwill a few weeks ago for $2.99, but they were missing the flower that was supposed to be on top of them. So, we got these little do-dads from Hobby Lobby for $2.99 (a pack of 4) and super glued them on.
And now good as new! They look like they belong on there!

I went to this hidden thrift store in Hammond called The Shop and found these adorable clutches today! The white one was $3.00 because it is real leather. I'm not sure if I want to paint anything on it just yet. The gray one I got for only $0.50, but it definitely needs some sprucing up!

All American 4th of July

For the 4th of July, I went to Pearl, MS to watch my cousin Ben (who used to play for the Milwaukee Brewers) play a comeback game with the Mississippi Braves. He hadn't played ball in 2 years because of a shoulder injury, so it was exciting for a lot of my family to watch him pitch. His team unfortunately didn't win, but I thought he did well for not pitching for that long. I went all American and had a delicious ballpark chili cheese hot dog and french fries while at the game. I had a great time with family and got to end the night with some beautiful fireworks.

The funny part about the day: So, when you have a thrifting addiction like my mom and I, going to a new city means a new Goodwill! Too bad, we drive up to the Goodwill that just so happens to be a mile away from the stadium, and it's CLOSED. It's the 4th of July, DUH it's closed. We should have been smarter and known. Though, on our 2 hour long ride home, I was search instagram, and it turns out other Goodwills were open today and had 50% the entire store! How unfair!

So here's my bargainista outfit that I put together the night before:
Top: TJ Maxx (on clearance) $10.00
Guess Shorts: Goodwill $3.49
Sandals: American Eagle (on clearance) $10.00
Headband: Walmart $3.88
Total Outfit Cost: $27.37

Hope everyone's holiday was great! I know mine was! :)
