Soooo guess what Larry and I are doing Saturday... house hunting!!  We found a few in our price range and in the area we are looking for, so we are going tour those houses with a real estate agent. None of the houses seem like the perfect house by looking at the pictures online, but ya never know! And this is just the start! I'm hoping we drive around and find a few more to check out that weren't online.  

Any tips for finding the perfect home for us?

When I posted my Forever 21 clearance finds here, I asked for some advice on how to style this skirt. Sara suggested pairing it with a chambray shirt and pearls, and she was totally right! I love this look! Thanks Sara! It looks really good without the black sweater but it was kind of chilly so I needed it, and without it, my black heels didn't look right with the outfit... and at the time I thought I didn't have any heels that would go, but then I forgot I had nude heels that surely would go.

Isn't Katy Perry just flawless? I just love her. I love her vintage, and always very feminine style. I totally wish I could pull off some of the stuff she's worn, but this simple skirt and cardigan look will have to do.

I found this Michael Kors dress months ago, and I finally got to wear it! Any other Goodwill would've saw the MK tag and marked the price up, but the one I happened to find it at  (College Drive in Baton Rouge) doesn't mark up clothes even if they are brand new! I wish all Goodwills were like that!

**Today I was getting dressed and realized that this skirt is in fact not from Pac Sun like I've been saying it is. My Pac Sun skirt had gotten lost a while back, and I replaced it with this skirt from Ross. And this whole time I've been blogging, thinking it was the original skirt. Whoops!

Okayyyy, so I didn't actually have work today.  We have our fall dance concert this week so tonight we have our dress rehearsal and I took off of work.  But I did wear this for a group presentation today... yeahhh that didn't go so well. I worked really hard on our powerpoint, and then even though I made it on a school computer, the fonts/sizing/spacing was all messed up when we went to present.  Then, since I was all worked up about that, I didn't present well.  :( Let's hope for an A anyway.

So, you're probably thinking, Wear to Work Wednesday should be on WEDNESDAY, right? Well, I normally post my outfit when I get home from work, but when I got home last night, I heard a ssssssssssss sound.... Luckily I looked to see what it was because it was my tire going flat. -__- My boyfriend, Larry, came to save the night though and change the tire for me! There was a nail in it. Oh joy. So, that's my excuse for not posting this last night. I hope it's a good enough one ;)

By the way, I don't particularly love this outfit. For some reason the cardigan with the skirt makes me look like a flight attendant. I guess that's suiting since I work at an airport? haha

Not often can you put something on at the Goodwill and it fit perfectly. Especially blazers because so many people have them tailored to fit themselves. Well, whoever donated this blazer was exactly my size! It's a perfect fit and SO versatile! A simple blazer can be dressed up for work like I did with this pencil skirt or dressed down with some jeans!

If you know me, you know that I rarely wear my hair in a ponytail when I'm all dressed up. Well the one day I didn't feel like fixing my hair, my boss decided he would call up someone to take pictures for our website! If I knew we were taking pictures, I would have never worn my hair like this, and I probably would've worn black and white like the other girls. I guess the picture looks okay anyways?

I didn't know what to call this outfit, but I have to say that it may be my favorite work outfit yet. Lately I've been obsessed with skirts, and every time I go to the goodwill, I try on about 10 different pencil skirts.  Somehow, none of them ever fit... but then came this one.  It fit to a T... as in if I eat a little too much, thing thing isn't going to fit! But I love it, the color, the length, everything was perfect.

I called this office ballerina because of my ballerina bun and my ballet pink cardigan! I love that the big ballet buns are in style! I used to have to wear a bun all the time to dancing, and I kinda miss it. It gets my hair out of my face, and it just looks fabulous. Have you tried the ballerina bun?

What I Wore to Work!

Today I started my new job! It was really interesting to learn about aviation, something I knew close to nothing about before. I'm excited to see what else is to come! I'm also a little nerd and excited to start school this Wednesday. It's my very last first day of school! ....unless I go to grad school to get my master's degree.
