Last week, one of my favorite blog friends, Nicole from Writes like a girl wore this outfit perfection, and said she was going to dress like everyday was a holiday party (by the way, how stinkin cute is she??).  Without even realizing I had pulled any inspiration from her, I wore the above outfit to work the next day. Doesn't it look like a great holiday party outfit??  Now I'm thinking, if this is what I wear to work, what will I actually wear to our work Christmas party?

Today I am on my way to Texas to go hunting! I am super excited to have a few days off from work. I can't wait to relax at the deer lease.. oh and black Friday here I come! On the down side, I'm so sad that I have to leave my Charlie poo. I'm boarding her for the first time, and I just don't know how I feel about it. I'm worried they won't play with her enough or give her enough attention. I'm worried she's going to be depressed. :( I'll be calling the poor vet's office everyday checking on her!

I FINALLY got my hairs did y'all. (Well actually over a week ago, but I'm finally getting to my pictures from last week.) I hadn't gotten a highlight since the week before the wedding... sooo like mid July. I don't know if y'all had noticed but my roots were terrrrrible.
 things only processed blondes understand...
- sitting in the salon for 3+ hours is always totally worth it
- the week after getting your hair done you can't get over the brightness of your blonde
- when your roots are bad you have to avoid wearing your hair certain ways to hide your roots (half up half down is always a no no)
- it's SO annoying when people ask why you're roots are black... people it's just the contrast from the natural dark blonde and the super light blonde that's making my roots look dark!
and lastly my favorite
- the best thing in the world is when someone asks you if your hair is naturally that color

If I had to eat two things for the rest of my life (and not have to worry about my weight or health) I'd eat freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and french fries.
I can make the absolute ugliest faces you have ever seen. No lie. I'd prove it, but I'm not going to embarrass myself like that. My sister and I actually communicate on the daily by sending ugly photos of our elves through snap chat. Yes. These pictures are so ugly, we cannot save proof of them.
I can't wait to be a die hard dance mom one day. I will be that mother making my child show me everything she learned every week, and oh yeah she will be practicing at home 24-7. But I promise to never be like Abby's Dance Mom's. Promise.
I want three children. NOT all at once. My husband only wants two. I say, the more kids, the more love.

First of all, I'd like to let you know that I don't own anything red other than this jacket. I've always felt weird in red (other than red lipstick). For some odd reason I came home with this red coat 2 years ago. It's maybe been worn 5 times. But something happened the day when I wore this outfit the other day. I felt totally confident in red! I really don't know why! Maybe I'll buy more red!

Know what else I'm wearing that I used to not wear either? Black and brown. How do you feel about wearing black and brown together? And NO I'm not talking about camel and black. To me, camel is more of a tan (but yes, camel does look amazing with black). I don't think I'd straight up wear chocolate brown shoes with black pants, but I really like this lighter shade of brown with black! Do you think it works?

4 years ago today, Larry chose to have me in his life, he asked me to be his girlfriend.
1 year ago today, Larry chose to keep me in his life forever, he asked me to be his wife.
Though we have a new anniversary now (our wedding date, July 20th), November 20th will forever be a special day in my heart.

This is just one of those outfits I felt totally like me in. To be honest, any time I wear this blazer I just feel like me. It's possibly one of my absolute favorite things in my closet (along with these boots). Let me put it in this perspective, even if you told me you'd give me $100 for this blazer, I wouldn't take it. I wouldn't take the chance of not being able to find another one as perfect as this one! Oh and by the way, back in the beginning of the year, I asked y'alls opinion on getting new boots like these because the bottoms of them were ruined, but I ended up just getting these fixed for only $12! $12 vs $40+ for new boots? I'll take it.

Lately I've kinda been in a funk when it comes to getting dressed. I just haven't been loving anything I put together. I feel like all I want to wear is big oversized sweaters that will cover my butt so I can wear leggings as pants. Problem is, I can't find any long sweaters! So, I gotta just work with what I got. What do you do when you don't know what to do with what ya got? You turn to Pinterest. As soon as I ordered this sweater, I looked on Pinterest for some pinspiration on how to style it. I got my pinspiration for this outfit from this pin and this pin put together.  Buttt as much as I love Pinterest and as much as I love this mustard sweater, I still just wanna wear big sweaters! Is that too much for a gal to ask?? People, please, where do I find the big sweaters?

our wedding, part I: getting ready

The morning of our wedding day was great. My bridesmaids, mom, nanny, and mother-n-law met me at Amber Nichol Salon where we had out hair and makeup done. My mom and sister were initially so stressed that they wouldn't have all of us done in time for the wedding, but they did it... with time to spare. I never stressed though. In all the time leading up to the wedding ceremony I never felt stressed once. For the first time in a while, I felt zero anxiety.  All morning I was so at ease. I was just so happy. I knew that this was all God's plan for me, that I was walking down the right path, the path to marry Larry. (hehe I rhymed ;)
Ps. YES, I am completely picture happy. It's so hard to choose, so I choose to show many. Hope you don't mind!

Happy Monday, Y'all! Are most of you off work? Cause unfortunately I am not. :( I actually had only a one day weekend because I worked on Saturday, while my lovely husband had a 3 day weekend. I am envious to say the least. I can't wait till the week of thanksgiving. I have off Tuesday till Sunday, and I'll be going to the deer lease to go hunting and relaxing too of course.

Also! Today is my Charlie Poo's 1st birthday! Oh man how I love this little pup. She isn't the smartest or the most behaved (or behaved at all) dog, but she is rambunctious and is full of personality.

Can you tell she just loves her birthday t-shirt? Which by the way I got at garage sale for 50 cents ;)

Yeesh, please excuse the fact that these dang pants look so stretched out and frumpster in this picture. Like I've said before, I take my pictures when I get home from work, so my hair never looks perfect and my clothes are always wrinkly. Starting in December though, I'll have to start working the 9-6 shift so by the time I get home it'll be dark (dang time change). I suppose I'll have to start giving myself 5 minutes in the morning to snap some blog pics!

Ps don't forget to shop my closet! There are too many things left ;)
