So it decided to get cold again down here in Louisiana. This may be the first time in my life that I've worn gloves in March. It was actually in the 80's on Sunday, and then the cold front came through Monday and it was in the 40's. Then yesterday (when this outfit was worn) I woke up to some freezing rain! Craziness. 

In all other news (since I seem to talk about the weather way too much on here) my Charlie girl was dognapped from me.... by my own mother! Larry, Charlie, and I went to visit my family this weekend, and Monday Larry and I had a couple appointments to go to in the morning.  So we planned to have lunch with my mom, and she was going to bring us Charlie and them we could go right on home instead of back tracking to her house to get her. Well. She texts me saying she was going to keep Charlie for the week since. I told her NO! She texts back oh well because she left already to meet us.  Our house is so lonely without Charlie! I'm pretty sure I've told Larry about 352 times that I miss her... and it's only been 2 days (that's probably about how many times I tell Charlie I love her in 2 days..). Only 2 more days Danielle... you can do it. :(

one outfit styled three ways

I bought this top and the bottoms at Walmart during the same grocery trip, but never did I think I would keep these two together this much! This has got to be the most comfortable put together outfit there is. These legging pants things (I honestly don't have a clue what to call them- they're too stretchy to be called pants, but too think to be called leggings) don't have front pockets or a button and zipper, so I think they look weird with anything but a longer top. This top is one of the two I have that's long and loose, so I just keep wearing them together. Today was supposed to be a snow day, and friends...how does one dress to play in the snow?? Help a southern out!  I feel like the bulk of this outfit looks like a hobo, but I guess I would be one chic hobo haha! I don't know if I would have normally thought to pair plaid and aztec together, but I was wearing this dress on Christmas when my sister gave me this sweater. I was absolutely in love with the sweater, so when I got cold that day, naturally it was the very first thing I grabbed. To my surprise, it didn't look too bad together! 
Unfortunately we haven't gotten any snow yet today, just sleet. I definitely keep going outside to check. No such luck. We aren't even getting as much sleet as we did on Friday. Northern friends, send me your snow!

Yeah, this girl doesn't believe it.  My weather app said there'd be ice pellets, and it showed little snow flakes. They even closed school in my area. And I have to call our emergency hotline in the morning to see if I have to go to work or not. As much as I would LOVE to lay in my pajamas on my couch in front the fireplace watching Netflix all day, I just don't think it's gonna happen. I'll let y'all know though.
