I had every intention of blogging this week. I really did. I'd really love to catch up on my outfits. But my mom came to spend the week with me while Larry was gone on a business trip, and spending time with her is way more fun and more important than blogging! Tonight we are working on a very special project with her silhouette machine. I can't wait to share it with y'all in a couple of weeks! Have any of you used a silhouette machine before? This is only our second time using hers. It's really tedious for me. I'm kind of too impatient for it. I do like actually designing on it though! 
It's so funny, I put my mom to work every time she comes visit. Tuesday I made her cook me a big pot of red beans and a pot of black beans. Beans are my favorite and I can't cook them to save my life (ok, I've only tried twice.. and we threw it away). So that's why I make her make me a lot, so I can freeze them and eat them whenever I like! My momma is the best cook. Too bad I didn't inherit her skillz!

I fell like I am finally back on a roll with blogging! I got tired of blogging back in May, and up until the past week or so I just didn't enjoy sitting down and writing a post that much. But it's back, my blogging mojo is back. I've got some fun posts I'm working on that I can't wait to share- garage sale-ing tips, everyday tips to live a cheaper life, a themed week with Andi, and Priya and I's fall edition of  4 seasons, 1 dress!
