Dress: Le Tote (had referral credit) $25/month
Boots: Just Fab (on sale) $20
Necklace: super old, maybe even from high school
Total Outfit Cost: $45

Can we talk about Pretty Little Liars for a second?  I don't even get excited for it to come on anymore.  I pretty much just watch it because I have to.  No, no ones making watch it, but I feel like I'm just watching it because eventually we'll all find out who A really is and it'll all make sense.  But for now, I'm bored with the show.  I barely pay attention to it when it's on anymore.  Like now as I watch it, I'm typing this.  I used to be so enamored in the show and had to focus 100% of my attention on it while I watched it.  Not so much anymore.  Anyone else feeling the same about our beloved PLL??

Also, thanks everyone for your input on this outfit! Just an fyi- constructive criticism is always welcome on my blog!

Y'all. This sweater. I'm smitten. I mean it's got an owl on it... WITH glasses! I love owls and I wear glasses (duh)! It's another one of those Le Tote pieces that I wanted to keep, but just couldn't justify the price. Oh well! It was fun for a day, but not really a piece I'd be able to "remix" that much.

The past week has been a busy one! New years eve we had a small party at our house. It was fun, but I pretty much just wanted to clean up the whole time because I couldn't stand seeing my house messy. OCD much? Maybe so. Haha. New years day I woke up pretty early and went to the big Dillard's sale. All clearance items were an additional 50% off! The shoes and handbag areas were pure craziness. I myself went for some cheap bras. I ended up with 4 bras ($5 and $7 each), 2 pairs of earrings ($4.50 each), and some leggings for 5 bucks.  After that I picked up some Chinese take out for Larry and I. So traditional, I know haha. I called my mom and had to laugh to her because my family always eats black eyed peas and cabbage on new years, but I hate both. Maybe Chinese take out will be Larry and I's new year tradition. :)

I was in my BFF MAPS (the accronym for BFF in Spanish) wedding on Saturday, so Friday I we had a bridal luncheon at a plantation home, then we went to get our nails done. Then Friday evening was the rehearsal dinner.

friday 1-2

Saturday was spent getting ready (hurr done, nails done, errrthang diddd- sorry, I had to!), and then THE WEDDING! Ahh it was SO gorgeous! I told her that I'll have to post the pictures to my blog so that I can pin them on to Pinterest because the whole wedding was so pin-worthy!

Sunday morning I had my sister her cut my hair. The ends were so long and stringy and gross. As long as I've been growing out my hair, I had to say goodbye to about 4 inches (btw my sister is in beauty schoo, I wouldn't let her cut it otherwise). Then, I had lunch with one of my friends that I haven't seen in forever. Sunday evening, I did Christmas with my dad's side of the family. Monday I had a doctor's appointment, then I finally headed home. BUSY I tell you. I'm kinda glad that the craziness is over, but then again I'm not. Part of me loves being that busy!

When I originally thought up this outfit I thought I would pair it with my striped skirt, but once I put it all together, it just wasn't working. Luckily, my favorite pants weren't far (ya know, on the ground in my closet... oops) so I grabbed them for a quick fix.  Some days the outfits in my head win, some days they loose. I'd say I won this time though because I actually like this outfit much better than with the skirt!

I hate to write such a Debbie downer post today, but man, I have just been in a funk this week. I was sick with a sinus infection last week, so I called into work Friday and went to the doc. They gave me antibiotics, a steroid pack, nose spray, cough syrup, AND a shot. I feel much better (other than this itchy cough that the cough meds don't help), but the antibiotics and steroids are just seriously messing with my sleep! I hate that even though I'm better that I have to finish them off. Last week I couldn't sleep because of the sickness, this week I can't sleep because of the medicine! So annoying! Especially coming from someone who thoroughly enjoys her sleep at night. I hope that this funk ends soon because Christmas is almost here, and I don't want to be the Grinch!

This cardigan is another fabulous item Le Tote sent me! I fell in love with it the moment I put it on. I considered keeping it, but then I looked at the price online and I could never ever ever justify almost $70 for a cardigan. So sadly back to Le Tote it went. :(

I've had so much fun styling all of the gorgeous things Le Tote has sent me. And it helps with not having to think much about what you're wearing for 3 out of the 5 work days. They send you 3 clothing items and 2 pieces of jewelry, so I'll style each clothing item 1 way, making 3 outfits for the week, then I just wear stuff out of my own closet for the other 2 days! I've gotten 3 totes from them and so far I am 9 for 9 (clothing only) with liking what they send me and 8 for 9 with fit (one dress was too short).

Boots: JC Penney $45

This isn't the outfit I originally planned out for this blazer. The outfit I planned was my gray fit and flare dress from Traget, a teal scarf, black leggings, and black booties, but when I put the outfit on I just wasn't feeling it. Then, I went outside and took pictures of the outfit and it was even worse than what I thought. I ended up wearing something completely different (you'll see that outfit next week). Then when I got home from work, I knew that I needed a blazer post for today so I decided to give this blazer another try. I already had on these pants, I saw my boots on the floor so I thew those on, then I saw this blouse hanging in my "to wear" part of my closet and wah-lah! I have an outfit! So for once, you are seeing an outfit in real time because this is what I'm wearing today. :)

A couple weeks ago I got an email from Le Tote that for 2 days only they were offering your first month FREE. Yes ma'am, I said FREE. I jumped on that right away and ordered my first tote. If you don't know what Le Tote is, it's a rental subscription site for clothes, kinda like Netflix. They send you 3 clothing items and 2 pieces of jewelry in a box (you get a cute free tote bag too!) and you can wear it and then send it back for another tote. You can get an unlimited amount of totes each month. If you decide that you want to keep something they send you, you keep it and then they charge you for it. Easy enough! If you're interested in signing up for it, you can do that here.

Also, these pictures were taken the Monday night after the time change, that's why the're so dark and ugly. I get off at 5 and usually I'm home about 5:25. I def didn't think that it would be pretty much dark by 5:30! I was on my way home from work, and I saw the sun setting and all I kept thinking was nooooooo! As soon as I got home I rushed outside to take these pictures and they came out crappy. After, I tried taking pictures inside and they were even crappier (is that even a word?). So, now I've resorted to taking pictures before work which sucks because I'm always in a rush in the mornings.
