thrifting with me!

Last Friday my mom and I stopped at one of our favorite Goodwills on College Drive in Baton Rouge! Here are some of my finds:

Here is headless me and what I wore. Note: I rarely dress like this but this was the day after I spend the night at the hospital with Larry. I still think it's cute outfit though.
Arizona button up: Goodwill $3.49
Limited Jeans: Goodwill $4.99
Sista's Vans: Borrowed
Total Outfit Cost: $8.48

Lookie here, I found a Shabby Apple dress! Too bad it was an extra small and that long center of the dress with the pleated bottom was just unflattering.

Umm JUICY COUTURE Jeans. Too bad they were a tab too tight in my butt and thighs. #foreverbigbuttprobz. They also weren't long enough to be wore with wedges for the spring.

And the top is Lauren Conrad and I got it!

This blazer was pretty but I couldn't think of any bottoms I have that would go with it.
Target dress. Didn't get it and kinda regretting it!

Jessica Mcclintock dress, came with a blazer too all for $12.99. I was thinking the dress would be pretty to change into at the end of my wedding reception, but it just needed too much work. It had a few stains, the metal from the corset was poking me, it would need to be hemmed, and my mom said it made my boobs look (even) smaller. Sigh.

Loveee this blazer. I did indeed get it.
(please excuse my hair)

I also got some black skinny pants from Forever 21 but I forgot to get a picture.

What do you think of my finds?

  6. Ugh, I was just at the Salvation Army yesterday and did not get ANYWHERE NEAR THIS LUCKY! I have so much more luck at consignment shops, but then of course, you're going to pay $15 for a skirt as opposed to $5, ya know? That JM dress is stunning on you. I am small chested too, but the sweetheart neckline really makes that whole area look nicer, trust me! My wedding dress had a sweetheart neckline, and I loved it!

  11. Not that I like to make comments on boobs, but you actually looked AMAZING in that white dress. I thought your chest actually looked bigger, at least in the photo. It also looks like I am not the only one!

  12. Love the white dress. How sad that it didn't work out. Also did you try on the shabby apple dress? Because i know their sizes run way weird. I'm usually a medium but have to order a small from them.
