Almost Totally Goodwill

Jacket: Goodwill $3.49
Shirt: Goodwill $3.49
Limited Jeans: Goodwill $4.99
Charlotte Russe Flats: Goodwill $2.99
Scarf: Target Clearance $4.48
Total Outfit Cost: $19.44

So I actually meant to post this outfit last Friday, and I had a Pinspired Style outfit to post on Thursday. Well my fiance had sinus surgery Thursday morning and I had forgot to actually make the Pinspired Style post so that I could just press publish from my iPad. Whoops. Then, we ended up staying the night in the hospital. My poor love was in bad pain. :/  He's recovering well and feeling much better than then though.

If you follow me on Instagram, you saw that Momma Goodwillista and I went to Hobby Lobby and picked up some flowers to play around with for the wedding reception decor. Yes, we are using fake flowers for decoration, but real ones for the bouquets. It was cheaper that way, and we will know exactly what the flowers look like. (50% off floral at Hob Lob when we went- SCORE!) So if you were wondering what my wedding colors are, here they are! Shades of coral/peach, ivory, lace, and burlap. :)

Ps. We played around with a few combinations yesterday, and we're not using all of these

  1. Awww, I'm glad to hear that Larry's doing much better. Sinus surgery sounds pretty scary to me!

Love this outfit though, and I know I shouldn't be surprised by this now, but I still can't believe all of the FANTASTIC things you find at Goodwill. You're amazing, tehe :)

  3. I can't believe you got that scarf on clearance! I wanted it SO BAD but they were sold out when I actually got around to buying it. Darn. You seriously find the best deals and put them together so well :)
I'm so glad to hear your fiance is feeling better! I would so much rather be sick myself than see Matt sick or in pain. Guess that's love, huh?
And you are awesome for using fake flowers for your centerpieces. I plan on doing the same thing- it's so much cheaper and will look JUST as good. I can't wait to see more wedding goodies!

  4. dang girl, you found some amazing things at Goodwill. I never go near the pants section as I have a hard enough time finding pants in stores. Do you have a lot of luck with jeans or is this one of those lucky finds?

    1. I actually don't have the paitence (much less the time) to look through the endless amount of jeans at the Goodwill, but I was there with my mom and she looks through EVERYTHING (and it takes her hours) and she pulled these out for me. At first I was like "I don't need a pair of jeans that color." Then I tried them on and they fit absolutely perfect!

  7. i'm so glad you were able to be with Larry during that scary sounding surgery and just relax while you both recuperated. blog posts can always wait for life. especially when they feature outfits this cute! i can't believe you find such awesome jeans when thrifting. i have a hard enough time finding jeans in regular stores, but i still thumb through my size to see if i can find a pair that looks familiar. love the color of that scarf with your hair!

  8. I'm LOVING the stripes and floral!!! I've been nervous to try them together, but you've inspired me! :) You look great! I'm so glad your future hubby is getting better. Cute color combo for the wedding and I love that you are using fake for decor and real for the bouquets! Such a great idea to save money!

    1. Thank you! You should definitely try it, you could pull off anything! Plus, I feel like the stripes and floral is much easier to do than the polkadots and stripes or the plaid and leopard.

  9. i had fake flowers for my wedding - even my bouquet! it was ivory roses with pearls and diamond-y sparkles - and the best part is i will have it for forever!! i'm not a huge real flower lover so i was fine going with fake. those flowers you have above are beautiful!!
