love lace

Lace Dress: Forever 21 Momma bought it for me :)
Belt: Cotton On $3.50
Booties: Shoe Station (clearance) $15
Scarf: Cotton On Gifted
Bracelets: Goodwill & Gifted
Total Outfit Cost: $18.50

This is the same dress I wore for my engagement photos (shown here), and I absolutely love it! This is how I wore it to church on Sunday.  A little white lace dress is so versatile, so if you find you one, get it!  I plan on wearing it casual in the spring with some sandals and a jean jacket, and then I'll probably end up wearing this for my bridal shower too maybe with some nice wedges.

Spency just wasn't feelin' outfit pictures and turned his head. Santa brought him his camo skinny sweater. Instead of skinny jeans, he wears skinny sweaters... what a hipster. But really he's just so chunky that he looks like a sausage in it. Wouldn't it be so cool if I could find him or Dutchess something at a thrift store? I'd totally him them their own outfit post.

Happy Friday, friends!
I am off to Larry's hometown where we will be searching for our home together! (eeeek can't wait!)

because blogging is > exhaustion & undone schoolwork

(the more I look at this, the more awkward this pose gets)
Dress: Cotton On $10.00
Tights: Cotton On $3.50
Tights: Cotton On $2.50
Boots: Borrowed from Sista
Total Outfit Cost: $16.00

About the exhaustion: Well since the Superbowl was in New Orleans, and I work at an Airport 40 minutes from New Orleans, you can imagine the air traffic we had going on. From Friday to Sunday, I worked a total of 34.5 hours. I got off at 2 am this morning and had class at 9:30.

About the undone schoolwork: see above.

So how did I relax today? Not by sitting on the couch. After class I went have lunch with my nanny, and then of course since I was already out, I had to stop at TJ Maxx and Target, and of course the Goodwill (I haven't been in 3 weeks!!). To me, sometimes relaxing doesn't just mean chilling on the couch watching too many episodes of Say Yes to the Dress, it means spending "me" time. So I spent some "me" time by shopping. All I bought was 3 pairs of colored tights at target on clearance for $3.50 each.. go get you some :)

How do you spend "me" time?
