Not often can you put something on at the Goodwill and it fit perfectly. Especially blazers because so many people have them tailored to fit themselves. Well, whoever donated this blazer was exactly my size! It's a perfect fit and SO versatile! A simple blazer can be dressed up for work like I did with this pencil skirt or dressed down with some jeans!

I spent this past Sunday with my mom and sister.  It's always great to have some momma-daughter time, right? We went to see Pitch Perfect, which is totally hilarious and everyone should definitely go see it! Though, did anyone else notice that the part on the previews where "Fat Amy" says she's good at bikini car washes wasn't even in the movie? Anyways, after the movie we met up with an old friend of mine and her mom (who is actually still one of my mom's bffs) to get some coffee at CC's. Then, we went to the evening service at church. When we got home mom had cooked gumbo! Yummmmmm. It was absolutely delish. A perfect ending to our wonderful day together :)

Friday's Finds!

Today I went run errands with my mom, and we justttt so happened to pass a few garage sales. Of course we had to stop! I work every Saturday 7 to 7, so I don't really get to garage sale often. So, I was pretty excited to see a few on a Friday. As much as I love the Goodwill, garage sales are really the place for a bargain. Check out what we got:

We also went to Walmart, and there was some swimwear on clearance for a DOLLAR! Yepp, just ONE! All they had was a top in my size, but I definitely got it. Who would pass up a bikini top for just a dollar? Plus, I already have some colorful bottoms that would go perfect with it. :)

Bargain Shopping Tip!

Now is really the time to be shopping for your next years summer wardrobe! Many stores are wanting to make room for all of their fall/winter wear, so they put the summer clothes/shoes/jewelry on sale. So, next time you walk into a store, go straight for that clearance rack and steal up those deals before someone else does! ;)

If you know me, you know that I rarely wear my hair in a ponytail when I'm all dressed up. Well the one day I didn't feel like fixing my hair, my boss decided he would call up someone to take pictures for our website! If I knew we were taking pictures, I would have never worn my hair like this, and I probably would've worn black and white like the other girls. I guess the picture looks okay anyways?

I didn't know what to call this outfit, but I have to say that it may be my favorite work outfit yet. Lately I've been obsessed with skirts, and every time I go to the goodwill, I try on about 10 different pencil skirts.  Somehow, none of them ever fit... but then came this one.  It fit to a T... as in if I eat a little too much, thing thing isn't going to fit! But I love it, the color, the length, everything was perfect.
