I've seen a few other bloggers (Fran, Nicole, and Alissa) share 10 things that you might not know about them, and I love learning random tidbits about others, so I figured I'd join in too!

10 things you might not know about me:
1. When I was younger, some kid told me I looked like Mary kate and Ashley Olsen and I thought it was the best thing in the world. I used to bring pictures of them to my hairdresser to copy their hair cuts.

2. I never ever ever miss a meal. I religiously eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

3. I'm addicted to and watch WAY too much TV. If I listed all of the shows I watch and record you'd be shocked.

4. My hair is naturally dirty, dishwater blonde. It's ugly. I got my first highlights in the 5th grade and kept getting more and more from then on until I had a head full of pretty blonde locks.

5. I started dancing at the age of 5. I started competing in dance at 6. It's my favorite past time and I miss it more than ever. I fully plan on being a crazy dance mom one day. But my luck I'll either be blessed with all boys or my girl will want to cheer. Lol.

6. My favorite type of food is a close run between Mexican and Greek/Lebanese. Give me everything Mexican or some chicken shawarma and gyros any day and I am one happy girl.

7. I've traveled to 3 countries so far- Spain, Costa Rica, and Jamaica. If I could live in Spain, I would. It was absolutely amazing. I hope to travel there again one day with my hubby.

8. I'm scared to death of spiders. So scared that I can't even kill them or step on them.

9. I was a cat person all my life until we got our toy poodle Dutchess. She was my first puppy love. Then we got our bichon frise, Spencer. Now Larry and I have our own toy poodle, Charlie Poo, and I wonder how people live without dogs.

10. I have 1 sister from my mom and stepdad and 2 brothers and 1 sister from my dad and stepmom. All half but whole in heart. My baby brother and I are 22 1/2 years apart.

  1. YAY! I'm so glad everyone is doing these now :)

I used to be OBSESSED with the olson twins (ashley was always my favorite). I wanted my hair to look like theres, I wanted to wear the same clothes, I wanted the same foreign boys to fall in love with me.... ;)

and I also never miss a meal - I don't understand how people can skip meals!! As soon as I'm done eating one, I'm thinking about the next.

    1. Haha I just saw that Fran said the same thing about the meals. I think about all 3 of my meals for the day at once! And then for the rest of the day until they happen. :D

    2. Oh me too! There's pretty much food on my brain 24-7!

  2. I NEVER miss a meal either. I don't know how people do it! I get hangry otherwise (hungry + angry). :P

  3. I never miss a meal either, I don't know how people can do it. My husband never eats breakfast, how??! I'm already starving by lunch and I just ate a few hours ago!
Thanks for sharing, I love these kinds of posts!

  4. Oh yay! I'n happy to see you are doing this, it's so fun to see other people's responses! I do NOT understand how people say that they forget a meal. Uh, are you even human?

  5. FIRST of all, I love this outfit on you! You look so cute in it! And I love that that shirt was only $1! That's a great garage sale find right there! :)

And second, I loved learning these things about you, we're similar in a lot of ways! I have (half) siblings exactly like you do. My half twin brothers from my dad and stepmom are 11 (one year older than my own son) and my half brother from my mom and stepdad is 8 (the exact same age as my other son). My mom and I were pregnant at the same time; it was Father of the Bride part 2! haha It's such a cool dynamic though, isn't it? They don't feel like siblings. I feel like an aunt or something! I was 22 when my youngest brother was born. Most people don't know what it's like to be old enough to be your brother's mom! haha

I'm also afraid my daughter will choose cheerleading as well! I was a cheerleader from the time I was 7 all the way through to my senior year of high school. I cheered on a traveling allstar team and we competed all throughout the country. I got to visit Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Nashville, etc. I was really fun and I loved it......I just hope my daughter never chooses to do it!! lol I put her in dance and I'm hoping she sticks with it. Or tennis, or volleyball, just not cheerleading! lol And spiders? Fahgetaboutit!! haha

  6. I always love reading these posts, and I'm so glad you did it! Sometimes I feel like I still don't know anything about you!! MK & A would be the ultimate compliment, and you know what, you kinda DO look like them! I think it's the eyes and the blonde hair. Spain is nearly at the top of my list for places to go! It seems absolutely amazing. Thanks for sharing :)

  7. I was so happy when Taco Bell campaigned for the fourth meal. I mean, if we're awake for 16 hours, it makes much more sense to eat four meals than three.

  8. These posts are so fun! I definitely didn't know anything about you except for the dancing. I have all step and half-brothers too! I didn't realize you had siblings on both sides. So are you the oldest? I thought I remember you saying you had an older sister but now i'm confused haha. I'm the same way about meals. I may not have breakfast until noon but you'll bet I'm still eating three meals! I was hugely obsessed with MK&A all growing up. I had all their movies and even their Barbie dolls (a few of them actually!)

  9. These kinds of posts are my favorites! I loved learning all the different things about you, Danielle! :) I totally loved Mary Kate and Ashley, too - their movie "Our First Video" remains a staple in my childhood, haha! I had no idea you were a dancer, either! That was one of my dreams when I was little but my family didn't have the money for it :(

  10. I loved reading this about you and I can see the Olsen resemblance. So cool you have a ton of siblings and wow one of them is a toddler. I need to be better about my meals and eat 3 full meals each day. Actually besides the 3 meals, we should have a snack before lunch and one before dinner also. This outfit is super adorable and such a superb deal, too.

  11. I love this list! I loved MK&A for sure. Definitely I blame them for some of my wanderlust. :) I love cats and dogs both, but want to wait until we have a house with a yard before we get a dog. More space seems better. :) LOOOVE Mediterranean food! So fun. Also, this outfit... is AMAZING. One of my favorites you've posted in a long time! XO -Alexandra
