LBD

Dress & Belt: Charming Charlie, Gift Carded
Heels: Shoe Station (clearance) $10
Total Outfit Cost: $10

My sister and I had each gotten a couple gift cards to Charming Charlie this past Christmas. She used some of hers to buy this gorgeous blue dress. After seeing how cute she was in it, I went back and got it in black. There were all different colors in it, but I chose black because doesn't every girl need a little black dress (LBD)? I thought that if I got black that I'd get more wear out of it. I was wrong. This is only the second time I've worn this dress. I'm pretty simple when it comes to shoes. I buy colors that can go with everything, so I don't have some awesome colored heels to fun-up this outfit. I'm just not much of an all black wearing person. Why am I having trouble with a girls' necessity?
How else could I wear this dress?

PS. I normally HATE wearing my hair straight, but I was shockingly having a great hair day!

Okay.. I almost fell on the steps, and decided to pull it off and pose, but what is that face??

  1. i LOVE this "LBD", Danielle! I would wear it just like you did, with a fun accent belt :) you could wear a 3/4 length cardi in a fun, bold color, belted, and with a neutral pair of shoes.

  4. This dress is fantastic! I think a cute floral or striped cardigan over the top would be amazing. Or, swap those shoes out for brown wedge sandals, keep the belt and add you fedora! Or flat metallic sandals with a denim vest or jacket...can you tell I wear a LOT of black?

  6. Okay, I was going to say that last face was stinking adorable! ;)
I may or may not have three LBDs, whoopsie. I love this one though! It's a more casual take on it, so you can wear it anywhere! I really love that belt as well. I may have to go by Charming Charlie's to pick one up sometime this summer.

  7. Black is so classy! It looks great with that belt and heels! I am the same way. I have shoes that match everything, so they are mainly neutral colors. I just recently realized this and got a couple colored pairs of shoes to add fun to outfits too. Haha! You look very classy and sophisticated.

  9. I love your black dress. What a good deal too! I would probably wear a blazer with it because that is my solution to everything. Or maybe a denim jacket?
