Yesterday I showed y'all my favorite blazer. Today, I'm showing y'all my least favorite blazer. I keep keeping this blazer because I feel like it's such a good staple piece to have, but I just feel like it's boring and it's missing something. I've had it about a year and a half now and this is probably only the 4th time I've worn it. I originally planned to pair it with a chambray underneath, but when I put it all together, it just wasn't working. I ended up liking the pattern mixing with the stripes and tartan though. Any ideas on how to style this blazer?

Most of the time I either have my outfit planned out in my head the day before or at least an idea of what I'm wearing.This is an outfit that was totally unplanned and put together in a whim one morning. I knew going to bed the night before that I wanted to wear these pants, but I had no idea with what yet. When I got to putting my outfit together, somehow this happened, and I love it! This is definitely one of my favorite outfits in a while! Do your best outfits come when they're planned or unplanned?

Happy Monday! Welcome to Nicole & I's third Many Days, Many Ways Link up! To be honest with y'all, I kinda almost forgot about it this month, so I had to put this post together very last minute. Luckily, I knew of one piece in my closet that I've gotten a lot of wear out of and could showcase this month, my coral blazer! It's easily one of my favorite items in my entire closet! When I was looking at all the ways I've worn it, I noticed that I've pretty much worn it with neutrals and a pop of turquoise. I've also worn it once with my navy gingham. I knew that I wanted to pair it with my awesome Gap bell bottoms this time around, and I could have easily gone for my white button up, but I wanted to try something different. I had to think to myself what other colors go with coral. I decided I wanted to try yellow and coral together. It was easy to pick a top because turns out, this is the only yellow shirt I have! It's not my favorite pairing, but hey, it works! I plan to continue wearing this blazer this spring and summer for sure! When I first started blogging, I realized that I only wore one color at a time and paired it with neutrals. I didn't really know how to put different color combinations together. I finally think I've got it though! I love different shades of blue and yellow together like in this outfit here and  in yesterdays outfit. I especially love navy and mustard together. I've also worn coral and turquoise, mint and navy, purple and navy, olive and coral, and olive and pink. What are some of your favorite color combinations to wear?   Last time I wore these pants Lauren asked what kind of shoes I wear with these pants... SUPER tall wedges!

A couple weeks ago I told y'all how my husband thought that I looked like a diva in an outfit I wore to work. This time, I walk over to his work to have lunch with him, and he says, "nice disco pants!" ....Sarcastically. Let's just say that he is not a fan of my wide leg pants. He couldn't stop laughing! And no, it doesn't bother me whatsoever! My husband has zero sense of fashion. If he's wearing something nice, I dressed him, and I bought it. Anyone else dress their husband? He'd dress even better if he let me dress him the way I really want to dress him. Unfortunately, he's plain Jane Jack. He only really likes to wear the colors black, red, white, and gray. One time I bought him this pretty blue Express short sleeve button up from the Goodwill (yes, I buy thrifted clothes for him too!), and he puts it on and is all like, "....well, the color is too much.." OHHH OK. Crazy husband. He never did wear that shirt, and it still hangs in our closet as I continue to hope he'll wear it one day.

Last summer I told y'all how I was a skinny pants kinda girl. Not that I really even had to tell you! If you've followed along for any amount of time, you have never seen me in pants that weren't skinny.  Well, I think these pants have changed me! First I have to say that I would have never even picked these pants up at Plato's if it weren't for seeing how adorable Danielle (a little bit of wo we) looked in wide leg pants. These pants are SO comfy and fit absolutely perfect (other than the fact that they need to be hemmed like a cm shorter), and I just can't get over how awesome they look. I have a lot of outfit ideas for them already, so expect to be seeing these often!

Ever since I saw Rachel Sayumi wear this outfit, I knew I had to copy it one day! After buying these pants I searched wide leg pants on Pinterest and found this pin. Then wah-lah! I put those two outfits together to make my own outfit! I know a lot of my outfits lately have been either copy cats from other bloggers or from Pinterest. I'm not sure if it's my laziness, lack of creativity, or if I'm just really inspired by other's lately. Hopefully once spring rolls around my creativeness will come back to me, and I'll be posting my original outfit ideas again!
